Job Description

Cvent is a leading meetings, events, and hospitality technology provider with more than 4,800 employees and ~22,000 customers worldwide, including 53% of the Fortune 500. Founded in 1999, Cvent delivers a comprehensive event marketing and management platform for marketers and event professionals and offers software solutions to hotels, special event venues and destinations to help them grow their group/MICE and corporate travel business. Our technology brings millions of people together at events around the world. In short, we’re transforming the meetings and events industry through innovative technology that powers the human connection.

The DNA of Cvent is our people, and our culture has an emphasis on fostering intrapreneurship - a system that encourages Cventers to think and act like individual entrepreneurs and empowers them to take action, embrace risk, and make decisions as if they had founded the company themselves. At Cvent, we value the diverse perspectives that each individual brings. Whether working with a team of colleagues or with clients, we ensure that we foster a culture that celebrates differences and builds on shared connections.

As a Group Product Manager at Cvent, you will be a strategic product leader accountable for defining and driving the strategy, and execution for a portfolio of products within our SaaS platform. This role requires a strong balance of strategic thought, execution excellence, and a passion for building customer-centric solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.

You will lead and mentor a team of Product Managers, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders and executives to ensure product success and alignment with Cvent’s business goals. A core expectation in this role is an AI-first mindset - leveraging AI and data to form product strategy, improve customer experiences, and drive innovation.

Product Strategy

  • Define and continuously refine a compelling product strategy that aligns with company objectives, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Develop a long-term product roadmap that balances strategic investments, incremental customer value, and future-ready innovation.
  • Translate business goals into product strategies that drive adoption, growth, and competitive differentiation.
  • Advocate and embed an AI-first mindset, integrating AI capabilities where they create strategic advantage, improve efficiency, or unlock new customer value.
  • Champion a customer centric approach by grounding product vision and strategic decisions in deep customer insights, validated problems, and continuous feedback loops to ensure we solve high-impact customer needs.
  • Exhibit Outcome-Driven Leadership by defining clear, measurable business and customer outcomes and aligning teams to deliver tangible impact - not just feature output.

Roadmap Ownership & Execution

  • Own the end-to-end product roadmap for your portfolio, including prioritization, sequencing, and trade-off decisions.
  • Partner with R&D teams to identify where AI can meaningfully transform user experience and operational workflows.
  • Ensure effective execution of product plans through strong alignment with Engineering, Design, and GTM teams.
  • Set clear metrics and success criteria for initiatives; measure outcomes and iterate based on data.
  • Lead planning and execution that maintain velocity, quality, and predictability in product delivery.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Influence and partner across Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Support teams to drive alignment and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Act as the connective tissue across the organization, clearly articulating product priorities and aligning both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Enable go-to-market success by collaborating with GTM teams on launch readiness, positioning, enablement, and adoption strategies.

People Leadership

  • Hire, coach, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of Product Managers.
  • Foster a culture of clear product thinking, curiosity, customer obsession, and accountability.
  • Enable career development, performance planning, and continuous learning within the product organization.
  • Lead by influence, modeling strong leadership behaviors and product management best practices across the organization.
  • Monitor portfolio performance through KPIs, ROI analysis, and strategic metrics, driving optimization as needed.
  • Minimum 15+ years of work experience with at least 10+ years in product management, with a proven track record in SaaS B2B product leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at executive levels and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with product discovery practices, experimentation frameworks, and modern product analytics.
