Graduate Engineer Trainee

Wipro is hiring fresh graduates for the Graduate Engineer Trainee role, involving software testing, automation, defect management and quality assurance for enterprise applications. Candidates will gain hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, test planning, UAT, defect tracking and quality validation. Responsibilities: Understand test requirements and prepare test cases; Perform software testing and quality validation; Design and execute automation frameworks; Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT); Develop and automate test scenarios and test plans; Detect bugs and prepare defect reports; Work with development teams to identify issues; Generate testing dashboards and execution reports; Ensure SLA compliance and quality delivery; Provide usability and quality feedback to stakeholders Requirements: B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/BCA/MCA/B.Sc degree from 2024, 2025, 2026 batches; Freshers eligible; Strong understanding of software testing concepts; Good communication and analytical skills; Interest in QA and automation technologies Required Skills: Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC), Automation testing concepts, Basic scripting and automation knowledge, Problem-solving and debugging, Test case creation and execution, Communication and teamwork, Defect tracking and reporting, Exposure to automation tools and frameworks, Knowledge of VB Macros or GUI automation, Understanding of UAT and regression testing, Dashboard and reporting tools familiarity, Quick learning and adaptability
