The opportunity
Our dynamic practice is ever evolving, providing the perfect environment for your professional growth. As a key player in International Tax engagements, particularly within the Singapore tax jurisdiction, your primary goal is to analyse information meticulously and devise effective strategies for clients tax needs. Excellence and dedication to quality are expected in all your endeavours, including managing client service teams and contributing to collective objectives.
Your Key Responsibilities
Developing and delivering International Tax engagements (e.g., addressing permanent establishment risks, fund tax structuring, tax compliance) within Singapore tax jurisdiction with timely, responsive services/work products
Supporting seniors in business development initiatives
Identify process efficiencies and work seamlessly on engagements with local teams
Build strong internal relationships within the team and across other services
Seek continuous performance feedback from Seniors and work on suggested development areas.
Adhere to practice protocol and other internal processes consistently
Assist in preparation of relevant material for tax technical trainings
Skills And Attributes For Success
Demonstrate an understanding of basics of international tax concepts, and application of the same to perform the required work
Strong writing, research, analytical, communication and presentation skills
Exhibit inclusive behaviour in interactions with internal & external stakeholders with strong communication skills
Taking the initiative to seek continuous learning opportunities, key developmental experiences, self-directed learning and formal learning
Setting strategy for how work is assigned and performed under the guidance of the reporting Manager.
Works with resource manager to ensure the strategy is met
To qualify for the role you must have
CA qualification (0-1 years of experience) or CA Intermediate/ M.Com / B.Com / BBA/ BBM/ LLB.
Any Additional Degree/ Diploma/Specialization in fields related to Financial Services Sector/Tax/International Taxation
