Role Overview
We are seeking a finance professional to manage books of accounts, statutory compliance, audits, and GST-related activities across the organization. The role requires strong accounting fundamentals, compliance orientation, and the ability to work closely with internal and external stakeholders. The individual will play a key role in strengthening financial controls, driving process excellence, supporting financial reporting and planning, and enabling business growth through data-backed financial insights.
Core Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Close
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations.
Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing.
Review journal entries, provisions, accruals, and ledger reconciliations.
Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
GST & Tax Compliance
Handle GST calculations, reconciliations, and return filings.
Manage GST notices, assessments, and queries.
Monitor Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliations.
Coordinate with tax consultants and internal stakeholders.
Audit & Compliance
Lead statutory, internal, and tax audit coordination.
Prepare audit schedules, reports, and supporting documents.
Ensure adherence to accounting standards, including IND AS, and compliance requirements.
Support implementation of financial controls and governance frameworks.
Develop and strengthen finance policies, SOPs, and internal control processes.
Financial Reporting & Planning
Assist in preparation of MIS, financial statements, and management reports.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
Prepare investor reports and management presentations.
Analyze financial data and highlight key observations, risks, and opportunities.
Support business growth through data-backed financial insights and predictive analysis.
Process Excellence & Automation
Drive process improvements and automation initiatives across finance functions.
Build, implement, and optimise scalable finance processes and reporting frameworks.
Reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency through system enhancements and workflow automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen financial processes and support business growth.
What are we looking for?
CA qualification with 2–7 years post-qualification experience.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in GST compliance and filings.
ERP exposure: Microsoft Business Central ERP / Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC) is required.
Proven ability to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency through automation and process improvements.
Experience in startup, retail, e-commerce, or technology-driven environments preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and ownership mindset.
Ability to build scalable finance processes and support business growth through data-driven insights.
