Role Overview

We are seeking a finance professional to manage books of accounts, statutory compliance, audits, and GST-related activities across the organization. The role requires strong accounting fundamentals, compliance orientation, and the ability to work closely with internal and external stakeholders. The individual will play a key role in strengthening financial controls, driving process excellence, supporting financial reporting and planning, and enabling business growth through data-backed financial insights.

Core Responsibilities

  • Accounting & Financial Close
  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations.
  • Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing.
  • Review journal entries, provisions, accruals, and ledger reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
  • GST & Tax Compliance
  • Handle GST calculations, reconciliations, and return filings.
  • Manage GST notices, assessments, and queries.
  • Monitor Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with tax consultants and internal stakeholders.
  • Audit & Compliance
  • Lead statutory, internal, and tax audit coordination.
  • Prepare audit schedules, reports, and supporting documents.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards, including IND AS, and compliance requirements.
  • Support implementation of financial controls and governance frameworks.
  • Develop and strengthen finance policies, SOPs, and internal control processes.
  • Financial Reporting & Planning
  • Assist in preparation of MIS, financial statements, and management reports.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
  • Prepare investor reports and management presentations.
  • Analyze financial data and highlight key observations, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support business growth through data-backed financial insights and predictive analysis.
  • Process Excellence & Automation
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives across finance functions.
  • Build, implement, and optimise scalable finance processes and reporting frameworks.
  • Reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency through system enhancements and workflow automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen financial processes and support business growth.

What are we looking for?

  • CA qualification with 2–7 years post-qualification experience.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in GST compliance and filings.
  • ERP exposure: Microsoft Business Central ERP / Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC) is required.
  • Proven ability to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency through automation and process improvements.
  • Experience in startup, retail, e-commerce, or technology-driven environments preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and ownership mindset.
  • Ability to build scalable finance processes and support business growth through data-driven insights.
