Join our collaborative and dynamic Risk Operations team supporting Macquarie Asset Management (MAM). We provide expert guidance on risk management activities and ensure consistent application of our risk framework through foundational processes.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert, managing incidents and issues across Macquarie Asset Management’s global operations. You will handle triage, investigations, stakeholder notifications, and ensure accurate documentation in Macquarie’s GRC system, OpenPages, while driving continuous improvement in risk management practices. Additionally, you will contribute to Group-wide initiatives and foster strong relationships with MAM Risk and business stakeholders globally.

What You Offer

• Bachelors degree with 5+ years experience in operational risk, audit, compliance, or assurance, with strong knowledge of business processes, risks, and controls
• Experience in financial markets, particularly asset management, with expertise in analysing non-financial and/or financial risks is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset, providing insights and identifying challenges through incident and issue management
• Skilled in conducting root cause analysis and confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels during investigations
• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams and build strong relationships within the global risk team and broader Macquarie stakeholders.
