Job Purpose

Acuity Knowledge Partners is currently looking for dedicated and self-motivated individuals who have strong organizational and teamwork skills to support the DCM & ECM team of a global investment bank.

Key Responsibilities -Equity Capital Markets

l Supporting our clients on preparing pitch books, company focused discussion documents, studying & analysing various type of precedent equity offerings

l Managing delivery & execution of projects on ECM side, including capital market updates, newsletters, shareholder / ownership analysis, IPO comps / analysis, new equity issuance analysis, Capital structure analysis, Investor analysis and profiles, ECM transaction case studies, , industry research, league tables etc

l Should have fair knowledge about capital markets, equity offerings, equity-linked offerings like convertible bond market

Key Responsibilities -Debt Capital Markets

l Prepare pitch books, capital structure analysis, debt profiles, credit memos, sales memos and road show presentations

l Creating various issuer/target related analyses including market analyses, company profiles, credit highlights, balance sheet analyses, credit ratings assessment, and competitive benchmarking

l Working on market updates / newsletters including commentary, trading levels, recent issuances update, major economic events

Required Background

l MBA / CFA/ CA/ Graduate

l Relevant experience of 2-8 years in Investment Banking preferably Equity Capital market & Debt Capital Markest team of a bank, boutique firm, KPO, consultancy, or advisory firm.

l Ability to work independently and possess the management/leadership skills to run the research on a day-to-day basis and apply his insights to client ideas

l Should have fair knowledge about capital markets, equity offerings, equity-linked offerings like convertible bond market

l Strong statistical and analytical skills to assess the economic performance/analysis of companies and industries for clients

l The candidate should have the ability to work independently

l Excellent written and spoken communication skills

l Working knowledge of databases such as Factset, Dealogic, CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, Thomson Research, Morning star

l MS Office skills – should be good in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word
