DevOps Intern

About The Role

TartanHQ is looking for a DevOps Intern who is eager to learn and build a career in DevOps and Cloud technologies. This role is ideal for freshers or early-career candidates who want hands-on exposure to real-world DevOps tools, processes, and environments while working closely with experienced engineers.

You don’t need to know everything — a strong willingness to learn and a basic technical foundation is what matters most.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the DevOps team in daily activities and ongoing projects
• Assist with application deployments under guidance
• Learn and work on CI/CD pipelines (build, test, deploy basics)
• Help monitor systems, applications, and logs
• Assist in managing cloud resources (AWS/Azure/GCP – basic level)
• Work with containers and environments (Docker – basic exposure)
• Document learnings, steps, and processes clearly
• Collaborate with developers and testers to support smooth releases
  
  

• Basic understanding of Linux commands
• Familiarity with Git or any version control tool
• Basic knowledge of cloud concepts (any one: AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts (theoretical knowledge is fine)
• Willingness to learn scripting (Shell / Python – basic level)
• Good attitude, curiosity, and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work from office in Gurgaon for the full internship duration for 6 month
  
  

• Exposure to Docker or Kubernetes (even academic or self-learning)
• Knowledge of Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
• Basic understanding of networking concepts
• Personal projects, labs, or certifications in Cloud/DevOps
  
  

• Hands-on experience with live DevOps environments
• Learning-by-doing approach with mentorship
• Exposure to industry-standard DevOps tools
