Job Purpose

We are looking for dedicated and motivated individuals with strong leadership, organisational and teamwork skills for its Private Equity and Private Credit financial modelling team based in Gurgaon.

Key Responsibilities

l Help clients to develop results-driven strategies, which include financial spreading and modelling, critical industry or market analyses, competitive benchmarking and opportunity assessments through in-depth research

l Assist clients with complex financial modelling assignments in the Private Equity and private credit space, working on a variety of models such as LBO, DCF and Investment models

l Valuate a variety of securities such as equity, debt and convertibles

l Perform trading and transaction comparable analyses and financial statements analyses by applying experience in credit research, including debt analysis, covenant monitoring, cash flow conversion, capital structure, etc.

l Creating comprehensive Investment Memos (IMs) and pitch decks for PE clients

l Analysing Investment Themes / Strategies : Evaluating attractiveness of the overall sector / geography / company focused investment themes and strategies of the fund

l Investment Opportunity Identification : Identifying emerging and high-growth sectors for investment assessment through market analysis such as market size, historical and projected growth rates, emerging market trends, key drivers, etc.

l Project structuring, planning, conceptualizing output, leading a team of few analysts and associates, reviewing team’s work, signing-off before delivery

l Interact with senior professionals at private equity firms and corporations

l Conduct quality checks of client deliverables

l Other activities include structuring deliverables/teams and developing efficient processes

l Demonstrate strength and experience in client/requester relationship building and management and information/knowledge needs assessment.

Skills And Experience

• 6-9 years of experience in strategy consulting/investment banking/private market/research sectors
• Experience in quantitative analysis including financial spreading and analysis, trading comps, transactions comps, benchmarking etc. Financial modeling experience will be added advantage
• CFA, Chartered Accountant, MBA from a top tier business school
• Strong business fundamentals and knowledge of business analysis skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
• Dedicated and motivated individuals having demonstrated academic excellence with strong leadership, client relationship management, analytical, communication and teamwork skills
• Proven project management skills and ability to groom team and prepare for next level
