Delivery Lead - Snowflake Data Engineer

Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled and Snowflake-certified Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Snowflake architecture, data modeling, and pipeline development, along with a strong understanding of cloud data ecosystems and enterprise data integration.

Desired Skills And Experience

Candidates should have a B.E./B.Tech/MCA/MBA in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field

6–8 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years on Snowflake.

Snowflake certification (SnowPro Core or Advanced).

Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud data architecture.

Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git).

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Exposure to BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance standards.

Experience in financial services, healthcare, or other regulated industries.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and provide clear updates.

Must possess good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Snowflake.

Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and performance-optimized queries.

Integrate Snowflake with various data sources, APIs, and enterprise platforms.

Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all data workflows.

Collaborate with data analysts, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver reliable data solutions.

Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance, storage, and compute usage.

Automate data workflows using orchestration tools like Airflow or dbt.

Maintain documentation for data architecture, processes, and standards.
