As a Data Protection Senior Associate, you will specialize in providing advice and guidance to clients on privacy laws and data protection regulations. You will assist businesses in navigating the complex landscape of privacy and data protection requirements, confirming compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Within our Cybersecurity & Privacy practice, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. Navigating increasingly complex situations, you will grow your personal brand, deepen your technical skills, and enhance your awareness of strengths. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality solutions even when the path forward isn’t clear.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will assist in developing privacy policies, conducting privacy impact assessments, and implementing data protection measures to safeguard personal information. You will use a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems, interpreting data to inform insights and recommendations. Upholding professional and technical standards, you will contribute to the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements, while developing a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving.

Responsibilities

• Providing strategic guidance on privacy laws and data protection regulations to clients across various industries
• Assisting in the development and implementation of privacy policies and data protection measures to safeguard personal information
• Conducting privacy impact assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks
• Navigating complex legal landscapes to confirm compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to address privacy and data protection challenges
• Utilizing analytical thinking to interpret data and inform insights and recommendations
• Upholding professional and technical standards in line with the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements
• Engaging in continuous learning to deepen understanding of the business context and evolving privacy regulations
• Mentoring junior team members to enhance their skills and understanding of privacy and data protection practices
• Building meaningful client connections to anticipate and address their privacy and data protection needs
  
  

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 2 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
  
  

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, Computer Science, Computer and Information Science, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Information CyberSecurity, Information Technology, Law, Management Information Systems, Risk Management, Statistics, Systems Engineering
