Contract Recruiter 12 Months Extendable

As a key addition to our India People & Culture team, this role is critical to scaling our team in India. Youll support recruiting for corporate and technical roles, partner external recruiting agencies to ensure quality talent flow, and support our hiring goals as we grow our India presence. Working closely with global hiring managers and our P&C leadership, youll ensure we attract and hire exceptional talent that aligns with our company culture and business needs.

The primary purpose of this position is to drive recruiting success in India by owning full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles and optimizing our agency partnerships to maintain hiring velocity and talent quality standards.

Contract Type: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (extendable)

Full-Cycle Recruitment 

 Own the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned technical and corporate roles, including:

• Sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, professional networks, and niche job boards (independent sourcing)
• Conducting initial screenings and managing the interview pipeline
• Scheduling interviews, gathering feedback, and running debrief conversations
• Partnering with hiring managers on candidate calibration and offer negotiations
• Maintaining candidate pipeline and forecasting to support hiring timelines

Recruiting Agency Partnership Management

 Support and optimize our recruiting agency relationships to ensure quality talent and hiring goal attainment:

• Partner with agencies on role specifications, sourcing strategies, and timeline expectations
• Evaluate candidate quality and provide feedback to agencies to continuously improve their pipeline
• Monitor agency performance against KPIs (time-to-hire, quality-of-hire, placement rates)
• Serve as the point person between our hiring managers and agencies to ensure alignment and smooth handoffs
• Manage the recruitment budget and agency spending to optimize ROI

Employer Branding & Market Insight

 Support employer brand building and provide market intelligence to inform hiring strategy:

• Build relationships within the India tech and talent community through networking and professional events
• Share market data, talent trends, and sourcing insights with global stakeholders to inform strategy
• Contribute to candidate experience and company culture messaging locally

• 4+ years of recruiting experience, with demonstrated success in both technical (engineering/product) and corporate (finance, marketing, customer support) hiring
• Proven experience managing recruiting agency relationships and optimizing vendor partnerships
• Track record of successful full-cycle recruitment and hitting hiring targets in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems and recruiting tools
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across global, cross-functional teams
• Market knowledge of Indias tech talent landscape (a plus)
