Role Overview

We’re looking for someone who can own and scale how we communicate across the entire user journey—right from discovery to conversion to post-wedding engagement.

At a wedding marketplace, communication is not just messaging—it directly influences high-value decisions like venue bookings, vendor selection, and overall planning experience. This role sits at the intersection of growth, product, and brand, and will play a critical part in driving both user engagement and business outcomes.

This is not a campaign role. This is a full-funnel communication ownership role.

What You’ll Work On1. Communication Strategy

  • Own communication strategy across B2C (users) and B2B (vendors/partners)
  • Map lifecycle journeys (discovery → consideration → conversion → retention)
  • Identify key moments, triggers, and campaigns to drive engagement and conversion
  • CRM Marketing
  • Execute and scale campaigns across:
    • Email
    • Push notifications
    • WhatsApp
    • In-app messaging
  • Build and optimize:
    • Automated journeys (targeted campaigns, reactivation, lead nurturing)
    • Trigger-based communication (webhooks, behavioral events)
    • Chatbot and conversational flows for engagement and lead qualification
  • Conversion & Engagement Optimization
  • Improve open rates, CTRs, and conversion metrics across channels
  • Run A/B tests on messaging, creatives, and timing
  • Use data and user behavior to continuously refine communication
  • Brand & Marketing Communication
  • Ensure a consistent and strong brand voice across all touchpoints
  • Create and manage marketing collaterals:
    • Campaign messaging
    • Sales decks and vendor communication
    • Landing page and product communication
  • Translate product features into clear, compelling communication
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Product, Growth, Sales, and Design teams
  • Align communication with business goals like lead generation, retention, and monetization

What We’re Looking For

  • 3-5 years of experience in communications / lifecycle marketing / CRM marketing
  • Hands-on experience with tools like CleverTap, MoEngage, WebEngage, HubSpot or similar will be a plus
  • Strong experience in multi-channel campaign execution and automation
  • Excellent copywriting skills with a focus on conversion-driven messaging
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in testing and performance tracking
  • Experience in brand communication
