Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function.
- Experience executing full-cycle FP&A functions including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling within a multinational company setting.
Preferred qualifications:
- Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets and SQL. Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools/LLMs to automate workflows or enhance data analysis.
- Ability to take initiatives, navigate ambiguity and work in an unstructured environment.
- Distinctive problem-solving skills with a proven track record of building complex financial models and identifying non-obvious trends in large datasets.
- Excellent teamwork, communication and presentation skills; can craft and deliver a message with credibility to influence executive leadership.

As a Business Finance Analyst for the India market, you will be a strategic partner to the India leadership team, primarily focusing on Ads Sales and its supporting functions. Your work, from sophisticated financial modeling to tracking core performance metrics, will be the foundation upon which our leaders make critical strategic decisions.
This role offers a unique vantage point into one of Google's most significant markets. You will not only manage the "rhythm of the business" (reporting, forecasting, and target setting) but also exercise thought leadership to shape the long-term financial strategy and operational excellence of the India business.

Responsibilities
- Support India’s critical business finance operations for Large Customer Sales (LCS) Ads business such as business reporting, forecasting, target setting, analysis, and budget management.
- Provide management with insights and recommendations into drivers of business, market trends, risks, and opportunities leading to business enhancing and product actions.
- Engage in deep analyses to generate the insights and recommendations.
- Be a strategic enabler for our AI transformation, elevating the quality and scale of our deliverables while accelerating operational efficiencies.
- Act as a liaison to connect central Finance teams and the local teams.
