About The Role

OnGrid is looking for a Business Development Professional to drive background verification (BGV) or BFSI (banks, NBFCs, insurance, and fintech companies) Sales — . You'll own the full sales cycle from lead generation to closure, working closely with product and delivery teams to position OnGrid's BGV suite as the go-to compliance and hiring-risk solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire enterprise clients across BGV, HRTech, Banking, NBFCs, Insurance, and FinTech.
• Build relationships with HR, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Business leaders.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure.
• Conduct product demonstrations and solution presentations.
• Prepare proposals, commercial negotiations, and contracts.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and CRM.
• Collaborate with internal product and operations teams to ensure successful client onboarding.
• Consistently achieve quarterly revenue targets.
  
  

• B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS, HR-tech, or financial services
• Prior exposure to BFSI clients or compliance-driven sales cycles is a strong plus
• Strong communication and consultative selling skills
• Comfortable with CRM tools and structured sales processes
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; MBA preferred but not mandatory
