Business Analyst Support ROW AOP

Description

The candidate will own the maintenance of business reviews, enhancement and standardisation of business reporting and analytical frameworks that enable operational decision-making. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable reporting and automation solutions. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining recurring reports and dashboards, supporting deep-dive analyses, and providing ad hoc data support to Operations stakeholders. They should possess a strong understanding of business requirements, demonstrate the ability to quickly identify the root cause of reporting, BI, and data-related issues, and recommend practical, scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, demonstrates a strong bias for action, and is passionate about analytics, business intelligence, and process automation. They should be comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and continuously identifying opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and standardization.

Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Own the design, development, maintenance, and standardization of recurring metrics, reports, dashboards, and analytical frameworks that support business reviews and drive data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by validating reporting outputs, implementing quality checks, and proactively identifying and resolving data discrepancies.
• Partner closely with internal and cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and enhance existing reporting and analytical processes.
• Perform root cause analysis on reporting, BI, and data-related issues, and recommend scalable solutions to improve reporting quality and operational efficiency.
• Support ad hoc analytical requests and deep-dive analyses by delivering timely, accurate, and actionable insights.
• Continuously enhance existing reporting frameworks by incorporating new business requirements, improving standardization, and increasing reporting efficiency.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of business operations and how reporting, metrics, and analytical frameworks translate into measurable business outcomes.
• Stay current with emerging analytical techniques, BI tools, and automation technologies, and proactively apply them to improve existing solutions.
• Identify opportunities for innovation by proposing new metrics, analytical frameworks, and process improvements that deliver business value.
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of data analytics or automation experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Knowledge of SQL and Excel at a moderate or advanced level
• Knowledge of data pipelining and extraction using SQL
• Expertize with visualization tools such as Quicksight, Tableau or Power BI
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with one or more analytics visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI)
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python preferably)
