Your next role

As a BIM Coordinator your role will be to develop a strong BIM team within Buro Happold India there by enhancing the existing team’s capabilities to deliver the projects with quality . You will also monitor the setting up, managing and coordinating the models/drawings with other engineering disciplines and will be working closely with the engineering and client teams.

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic , with a keen interest in the built environment and a passion for technology .

• Produce detailed, coordinated service drawings to a high level of detail.
• Work closely with the Revit/CAD team and MEP team to deliver high quality BIM/CAD projects to agreed deadlines.
• Provide guidance and advice to design engineers on the planning and management of advanced Revit/CAD techniques.
• Quality control of BIM/CAD models and associated drawings, schedules etc.
• Review project BIM BEP’s and EIR’s and ensure that the BIM/CAD system is used effectively
• Liaise with members of the design team to assist with resolving coordination issues.
• Assisting in the development of the BIM capability /CAD and the appropriate use of emerging modelling technology (e.g. Dynamo) of the building services team.
• Assist in the development of systems and procedures to ensure that the BIM/CAD system is used effectively.
• Develop sketches and concepts into drawings details with a good understanding of the engineering practices behind them .
• Lead Weekly Coordination meetings with Design Team ( Architect, Structure, Client)
• Prepare Periodic Project Progress Reports
• Review & Coordinate Architecture + Structure + MEP disciplines
• Ensure Quality Control for MEP Layouts flag constraints and clear bottlenecks in a timely manner
• Develop & Implement workflow for MEP Drawings
• Support each project team by managing and creating content library files and templates, creating and enforcing standards
• Stay informed on best practice for use of AutoCAD, Revit and BIM Technology
• Provide fundamental and intermediate training to in house technicians team
• Test and evaluate new hires skills for MEP Discipline
• Comply with company defined guidelines, quality process adherence to meet project timelines
• Identify processes/procedures in own work area that need improvement
• Recommend process improvement ideas to streamline efficiency, costs, productivity.
  
  
  

Your Skills And Experience

• Applicant should be I.T.I., Diploma in Mech / Electrical with 8-12 years of relevant experience of managing building projects with knowledge of CAD/Revit workflow ( MEP Drawing production, goals and uses responsibility matrix, quality control, collaboration , technical coordination, and deliverable production.
• Experience in residential, commercial project is preferable. Hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and/or equivalent 3D software is essential. Must be versed in local industry CAD/BIM initiatives and internationally recognized CAD/BIM initiatives.
• Standards, protocols, and mandates like BS1192 & ISO19650 general knowledge of integrated architecture, structure, and MEP engineering practice knowledge of MS Office ( i .e. word, excel & Outlook )
• Should have a through grasp of engineering Drafting/modelling principles.
• Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills must have good communications and interpersonal skills ability to set priorities in an efficient and timely manner to meet essential job functions .
• Must be a team player, have a positive attitude, and be a self-starter. Ability to work both independently and part of team possess a strong work ethic
• Confident , proactive character, ability to take the lead in challenging situations
