Triple P India (TPI) is a strategic extension of the firm’s platform, established to build a high-quality team that operates as an integrated part of U.S.-based teams. Professionals in TPI are involved in live engagements from the outset, contributing to analysis, execution and client deliverables in coordination with colleagues across the firm. The platform is designed to provide meaningful responsibility, direct exposure to senior leadership and long-term growth in a high-performance environment.

Portage Point Partners is seeking an Associate, Financial Due Diligence (FDD) to join the Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) India team. This Associate will support buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements for U.S. and global private equity firms, corporates and lenders. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, high attention to detail and the ability to operate in a fast-paced U.S. deal environment. Associates will work closely with Vice Presidents and Directors in the US and India, contributing to high-quality work products, discrete workstreams and client-ready analyses.

Responsibilities

  • Support execution of FDD engagements including Quality of Earnings (QoE), revenue / EBITDA analysis, working capital reviews and cash flow analysis
  • Review financial statements, management reports and transaction materials to identify key trends, risks and value drivers
  • Prepare client-ready deliverables including data books, analytical schedules, QoE bridges and executive-level summaries
  • Assist in synergy assessments, carve-out analyses and integration support
  • Collaborate with US engagement teams and participate in client discussions when required
  • Work on multiple engagements simultaneously while maintaining high quality and responsiveness
  • Contribute to developing best practices, knowledge sharing and India team processes
  • Support business development efforts including research, pitch materials and thought leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required with CA, CPA, CFA, MBA (Finance) or equivalent professional qualification
  • Two to four years of experience in Financial Due Diligence / Transaction Advisory / Deals
  • Experience working with private equity clients or on US / global transactions is preferred
  • Willing to relocate to or be primarily present in Gurgaon
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into insights
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, Excel analytics and management data analysis
  • Exposure across sectors such as SaaS, healthcare, consumer, industrials or financial services
  • Ability to identify relevant issues and articulate clear observations and recommendations
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to team development and firm-building initiatives
  • Entrepreneurial attitude, comfort with ambiguity and enthusiasm to contribute to a fast-growing environment
  • Ability to work under tight timelines with a strong sense of ownership
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready presentation and reporting skills
  • Proven ability to thrive in lean, fast-moving teams
  • High attention to detail, responsiveness and ownership mindset
  • Track record of success in high-pressure, client-facing environments
