Ciena’s Services Business Intelligence & Data Science team delivers reporting, analytics, and data-driven insights that enable informed decision-making across the Services organization. This role contributes to the evolution of business intelligence capabilities spanning the transactional lifecycle from sales opportunities through post-sales services. The position collaborates with business and IT stakeholders to develop reporting solutions that improve visibility into operational performance and key business metrics.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Understand, research, and document business requirements and contribute to solution development.
• Design and develop report architecture, including report user interfaces and data models, to optimize performance and integration.
• Deliver reporting for operational and business metrics that provide visibility into performance against key performance indicators.
• Participate in project planning activities to analyse requirements and design reporting and information systems solutions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports.
• Interface with internal teams to resolve reporting and data-related issues.
• Participate in proof-of-concept initiatives for new tools and technologies.
  
  

The Must Haves

• Education: Degree in Finance, Commerce, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience: 1+ years’ experience.
• Application of Power BI and SQL.
• Good business acumen.
