Role Overview

The AGM - Learning & Development will be responsible for driving the organization-wide learning strategy, leadership development, sales capability building, and talent development initiatives. The incumbent will partner with business leaders and HR stakeholders to design and deliver scalable learning solutions that enhance organizational performance and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise learning and development strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead leadership development and succession planning initiatives across functions.
• Drive capability-building programs for sales, distribution, operations and corporate teams.
• Partner with business leaders to identify critical skill gaps and design learning interventions.
• Build and manage high-impact learning journeys for employees across levels.
• Lead digital learning transformation initiatives including LMS and blended learning programs.
• Measure training effectiveness through learning analytics, business outcomes and ROI metrics.
• Manage external training partners, vendors and internal facilitators.
• Drive talent development initiatives for high-potential employees and future leaders.
• Ensure regulatory, compliance and mandatory learning requirements are effectively implemented.

• 14-20 years of experience in Learning & Development within the Insurance industry.
• Experience working with Life Insurance, Health Insurance or General Insurance organizations.
• Strong exposure to leadership development, sales training and capability-building initiatives.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale learning programs across multiple locations.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic learning initiatives.
  
  

• MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Relevant certifications in Learning & Development, Coaching or Talent Management will be an added advantage.
