The BCN comprises of Consulting Services, Knowledge Services and Shared Services.

Who you will work with

This role is based out of the Visualizations CoE – ARC team, which sits under the broader “Data & Tech” cluster at the BCN. ARC is Bains state-of-the-art transformation management tool. We work closely with global Bain case teams, product teams and end-clients providing them data analytics and business intelligence support using advanced data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, SQL, Python, Azure, AWS, Tableau, Alteryx etc.). The Data asset management & Analytics team here is responsible for managing a vast dataset and mining it for insights around how to run transformation programs better, and to guide product development, marketing, and internal communications for the team.

What you’ll do 

Analytics:

• Partner with Bain experts, to hypothesize, storyline and design analysis based on understanding of ARC’s data asset, and then execute them
• Explore data using SQL, Alteryx, Python etc to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improving business outcomes, and translate findings into marketing materials, and Bain IPs
• Apply regression analysis and other statistical modeling techniques to find relationships between variables, predict outcomes, and inform business decisions (important good to have skill)
• Engage with stakeholders and present interim and final findings to course correct as required and finalize insights before they are circulated to a larger audience
• Track how ARC is being used, how cases are delivered across clients, identifying patterns in adoption and delivery
• Analyze feature usage and engagement data to spot gaps, reduce churn, and guide Product and Customer Success teams on improving ARC and strengthening client retention

Data asset management:

• Continuously identify new data sources, data fields, and enhance the schema to make it more analyst- and AI-friendly
• Support AI and analytics readiness by preparing structured, high-quality datasets that can feed models, dashboards, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
• Manage Bain’s Data asset – guiding and curating the datalake, keeping it up to date, clean, organized, and accessible 
• Design and maintain clear data management processes for how data is collected, validated, transformed, and published
• Oversee data sanitization, removing personally identifiable information (PII) and sensitive content
• Maintain data documentation, metadata, and dictionaries so teams can easily find, understand, and use the right data

About you

• 3–4 years of experience in data analytics, product analytics, ideally in a consulting, SaaS, or product-driven environment
• Skilled in data curation, tagging, and structuring large datasets to uncover actionable insights
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Alteryx, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, Python for analysis and visualization
• Understanding of data governance, privacy, and PII management within enterprise data systems
• Strong communicator who can connect data insights to business, product, and marketing decisions
• Curious, organized, and detail-oriented, with a passion for turning data into stories that shape Bain’s product strategy and client impact
• Experience with Pendo, Mixpanel or similar product analytics tools is a plus
