Job Description

Technical Skills & Experience

Solid knowledge of the Linux operating system
Good working knowledge of commonly used Linux utilities
Ability to read, write, and troubleshoot Linux shell scripts
Basic understanding of communication protocols such as SFTP, HTTP, and HTTPS
Python programming skills are a big plus
Experience troubleshooting software and production process issues
Experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle, is a plus
Basic SQL knowledge is a plus
Familiarity with job scheduling tools such as cron is a plus
Experience working with log files and identifying root causes of failures
Basic understanding of file transfer, automation, and ETL processes is a plus

Qualifications

Bachelor�s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced certifications in cloud or DevOps are a plus. 3-6 years of experience in platform engineering or DevOps.
