Job Description

  • Social Media & Platform Management
    • Manage day-to-day operations of digital platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
    • Develop and maintain monthly content calendars aligned with organizational priorities
    • Write engaging captions and platform-specific content
    • Schedule posts and ensure timely execution of campaigns and observances
    • Monitor engagement and support timely responses where required
    • Maintain consistency in messaging, tone, and brand standards

Design and video production will be supported by the multimedia team member.

  • Digital Campaign Execution & Paid Advertising
    • Execute digital campaigns across social media platforms
    • Run paid advertisements using Meta Ads Manager and other platforms where required
    • Manage audience targeting, budgeting, and scheduling
    • Monitor campaign performance and optimize based on results
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies where required
  • Content Writing & Web Storytelling
Write Clear, Compelling Content For

    • Social media platforms
    • Campaign messaging
    • Website pages and program sections
    • Landing pages and digital campaigns
    • Translate field updates into engaging digital narratives
    • Develop storytelling formats that highlight real impact and human experiences
    • Update and manage website content in coordination with developers
    • Ensure clarity, consistency, and relevance across all written communication
    • Support the organization build a community of supporters

  • Analytics & Performance Tracking
    • Monitor platform and campaign performance metrics
    • Track engagement, reach, audience growth, and campaign effectiveness
    • Prepare monthly performance reports
    • Identify trends and recommend improvements
    • Use insights to strengthen digital storytelling and engagement
  • Website & Digital Integration
    • Upload and update content on website CMS
    • Support development of campaign and donation page content
    • Ensure smooth user journeys across digital platforms
    • Coordinate with developers for content/design-related updates
  • Cross-Team Digital Support
    • Support teams during high-volume campaign periods
    • Assist with urgent digital and content requirements
    • Share responsibilities across teams when workload increases
    • Ensure continuity of digital communication activities
  • Influencer & Digital Collaboration Support (Desirable)
    • Support identification and coordination of relevant influencers
    • Assist in managing influencer communication and timelines
    • Track engagement from influencer-led activities
  • Field Travel & Story Collection

    • Undertake periodic travel to field locations to identify and document stories
    • Work with program teams to capture meaningful impact narratives
    • Support communication during campaigns, events, and program launches
    • Contribute to building a repository of authentic field-based stories

Other Indicative Requirements

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s Or Master’s Degree In

  • Communications
  • Digital Marketing
  • Media Studies
  • Journalism
  • Marketing
  • Or related field

Years Of Experience

4–6 years of relevant experience in:

  • Digital marketing
  • Social media management
  • Paid advertising
  • Content writing
  • Website content development

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in NGOs, development sector, or social impact organizations
  • Agency experience in digital marketing or communications will be considered an added advantage
  • Experience managing multi-platform digital communication
  • Willingness to undertake periodic field travel

Required Skills

  • Strong writing and storytelling ability
  • Ability to write both social media and web content
  • Social media management across multiple platforms
  • Digital campaign execution
  • Paid advertising management (Meta Ads Manager preferred)
  • Content planning and coordination
  • Performance tracking and reporting
  • Strong multitasking and workload management capability

Technical Skills

Must Have

  • Experience running paid campaigns (Meta Ads Manager preferred)
  • Familiarity with platform analytics tools
  • Understanding of audience targeting
  • Familiarity with CMS-based website updates
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to influencer marketing
  • Basic AEO and GEO optimization understanding
