Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Setting and Achieving Sales Targets for his/her team: Establishing and meeting area sales goals.
Executing the GTM: Executing plans to increase sales within the area by increase in town / retail coverage, product portfolio, distributors.
Managing and Motivating Sales Teams: Supervising, coaching, and supporting the sales team to achieve their targets.
Building and Maintaining Distributor Relationships: Developing and nurturing relationships with existing and potential distributors. Ensuring counter party risk and commercial hygiene is always maintained.
Forecasting and Budgeting: Predicting sales demand, preparing budgets, and managing expenditures.
Training and Development: Providing training and support to sales teams to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Reporting and Communication: Regularly reviewing team sales performance and progress.
Market Analysis: Staying informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving challenges within the sales process.
Experience
Minimum 5 years in edible oils or staples at Sales Officer / Area Sales Executive (SO & above) in General Trade.
Understands contract management, price movements in commodity business.
Has worked on managing mix of trading and distribution channels in General Trade.
Deft at executing BTL activities on ground.
Has handled a hierarchical sales team DSM/SRèSOèASMèRSM
Willing to travel 15-20 days in a month
Any Graduate / Post Graduate in Marketing prefer
Additional Information
Extremely good marketing skills, clear communication and multi-tasking skills.
Have advanced knowledge of Excel.
