Apprentice – Content Strategy & Operations (CSO)

Business Overview

The Content Strategy & Operations (CSO) team is part of Enterprise Communications & MarTech Experiences (ECMX), a global organization within Membership Portfolio Services (MPS). ECMX enables high-quality, innovative marketing by providing campaign consultation, execution support, and developing best-in-class products and processes that modernize the marketing ecosystem. Every year, ECMX helps business and marketing partners across the enterprise launch more than 28,000 marketing campaigns.

Within ECMX, the Content Strategy & Operations (CSO) is responsible for the governance, management, and maintenance of U.S. marketing content across channels. The team ensures marketing content remains accurate, compliant, and up to date by managing content within the Marketing Digital Asset Manager (DAM), supporting new product launches and benefit updates, driving content governance, and enabling large-scale content transformation initiatives.

Join our 6-month paid apprenticeship program, where you will gain hands-on experience working with marketing operations, content management, project coordination, and cross-functional business partners. Responsibilities

Content Management & Marketing Operations

  • Support the maintenance and governance of marketing content within the Marketing Digital Asset Manager (DAM).
  • Assist with creating, updating, reviewing, and maintaining marketing content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Learn how marketing content supports customer communications across multiple products, channels, and business units.
  • Participate in content reviews and help identify opportunities to improve content quality and governance.

Project & Stakeholder Support

  • Partner with Marketing, Product Management, Legal, Compliance, Technology, and Operations teams to support content-related initiatives.
  • Assist in executing business-driven projects involving new products, benefit launches, content refreshes, and large-scale content updates.
  • Support project coordination activities, including tracking deliverables, managing timelines, and documenting requirements.
  • Help facilitate content approvals and maintain effective communication with business partners throughout project execution.

Process Improvement & Collaboration

  • Contribute to initiatives focused on improving content management processes and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in team meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support leadership with enterprise-wide priorities and content governance activities.
  • Gain exposure to Agile ways of working and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced marketing operations environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.
  • Willingness to learn marketing operations, content management, and project coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Exposure to project management concepts, Agile methodologies, or digital marketing processes is preferred.
  • Familiarity with content management systems or digital asset management tools is a plus.
