About The Role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive the growth of MedIQ, 1Lattice's healthcare intelligence and data platform, across the Indian healthcare ecosystem.

This is a high-impact, client-facing role responsible for driving revenue growth through new customer acquisition, account expansion, and strategic relationship management. The role requires engaging with senior healthcare stakeholders, understanding their business challenges, and positioning MedIQ as a strategic data and intelligence solution.

The ideal candidate should have experience selling Healthcare SaaS products such as Hospital Management Systems (HMS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR), Healthcare Information Systems (HIS), or Healthcare Data & Analytics solutions. They should be comfortable conducting product demonstrations, managing complex sales cycles, developing proposals, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver value-driven solutions.

The incumbent will report to the Director - Healthcare & Life Sciences and will work closely with product, research, delivery, and technology teams to drive customer success, platform adoption, and business growth.

This is a predominantly field-based role requiring regular travel and in-person engagement with healthcare stakeholders, customers, and industry partners across geographies.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end business development for MedIQ, including new customer acquisition, account growth, and revenue generation.
• Own and deliver against revenue, pipeline, and business development targets.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across hospitals, healthcare chains, diagnostic networks, healthcare providers, pharmaceutical companies, and other healthcare ecosystem stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers including CXOs, Hospital Administrators, Business Heads, Medical Directors, Procurement Heads, and Digital Transformation leaders.
• Leverage an existing network within the Indian healthcare ecosystem to generate qualified leads and business opportunities.
• Conduct product demonstrations and effectively communicate MedIQ's value proposition to prospective clients.
• Understand client requirements and position MedIQ as the preferred healthcare intelligence and data platform.
• Prepare high-quality sales presentations, proposals, commercial documents, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Manage the complete sales lifecycle, from lead generation and client meetings to commercial negotiations and deal closure.
• Develop strategic account plans to drive renewals, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with internal product, research, delivery, and technology teams to design client-centric solutions.
• Gather client feedback and market intelligence to contribute to the continuous enrichment and evolution of the MedIQ platform.
• Partner with backend and IT teams to identify, recommend, and prioritize platform enhancements and upgrades based on customer requirements and market needs.
• Monitor market trends, competitive offerings, regulatory developments, and emerging opportunities within the healthcare sector.
• Represent 1Lattice and MedIQ at industry conferences, healthcare events, networking forums, and client meetings to strengthen market visibility and generate business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate pipeline reporting, sales forecasts, and CRM records.
  
  
  

• 3-5 years of experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, or Account Management within the healthcare technology or Healthcare SaaS industry.
• Proven experience selling Hospital Management Systems (HMS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR), Healthcare Information Systems (HIS), Healthcare SaaS products, or Healthcare Data & Analytics solutions.
• Strong understanding of the Indian healthcare ecosystem with an established network across hospitals and healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting client presentations, product demonstrations, and consultative selling.
• Experience in creating sales decks, proposals, and commercial presentations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• AI-ready mindset with the ability to leverage AI-powered tools to improve sales productivity, customer engagement, proposal development, and business development effectiveness.
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a high-growth environment.
• MBA preferred.
