Department Overview

Financial Process Services (FPS) is a vertical of TresVista that works with major clients in the spectrum of the financial services industry relating to PTP, OTC & RTR. FPS caters to their needs related to accounting & financial. Exposure to processes related to core finance and accounting clubbed with innovative techniques and software adds value to the professional growth of aspirants looking for a career in the industry of finance.

Roles & Responsibilities

TresVista is looking to hire an Analyst who will be a part of the Financial Process Services department. The Analyst will provide support to clients for financial processes and internal projects.

Key Role Deliverables

• Manage end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including supplier > onboarding, contract management, invoice processing, and dispute > resolution
• Process employee Travel & Expense (T&E) claims, ensuring compliance > and addressing discrepancies
• Handle payment processing and resolve errors to ensure timely and > accurate disbursements
• Perform bank account reconciliations and balance sheet > reconciliations, including accounts payable, prepayments, and > accrued liabilities
• Recognize revenue and allocate expenses in compliance with GAAP/US > GAAP standards
• Posting journal entries for client expense accruals, lender/borrower > payments, intercompany transfers, etc.
• Prepare financial reports, including age creditor analysis, KPI > dashboards, and budget variance analysis
• Collating financial information and KPIs from broker reports, > management call transcripts, and news articles
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, such as > posting journal entries, reviewing trial balances, and generating > financial summaries
• Analyze interdependencies within financial statements and provide > insights for decision-making
  
  

Prerequisites

• Strong knowledge of accounting concepts, journal entries, and related financial terms
• Ability to meet client-driven deadlines (demanding hours)
• Proficient with the English language and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis)
• Proficiency in ERP systems like SAP, NetSuite, Quick Book, or Oracle (Desirable)
• Passion to continuously learn and grow
  
  

Experience

0 - 2 years (preferably finance experience)

Education

Finance graduate (preferably Hons. in Accounts)
