As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play an integral role in managing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all warehouse activities are carried out efficiently and safely. You will oversee a team of warehouse staff, ensuring that all operational targets are met and that customer delivery expectations are exceeded. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Your role is crucial for maintaining a high standard of inventory accuracy, implementing efficient warehouse procedures, and optimizing the workflow to improve productivity. You will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and maintain a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations in the warehouse to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly, and dispatch of goods.
• Ensure the effective utilization of the warehouse floor and storage space.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of warehouse staff members.
• Implement and maintain health and safety standards for warehouse activities.
• Manage inventory controls by ensuring stock accuracy and integrity.
• Develop and implement operational and procedural improvements.
• Coordinate with the logistics team to streamline supply chain operations.
• Oversee the maintenance and usage of warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance metrics and activities.
• Resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies and shipment errors.
• Foster a positive working environment and address any team conflicts promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking capabilities in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of warehouse management software and inventory systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are a must.
• Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure.
• Familiarity with safety standards and compliance regulations in warehousing.
