Job Description

The Warehouse Inventory Executive plays a critical role in managing and maintaining accurate records of inventory within a warehouse setting. This position requires a meticulous individual who can efficiently oversee inventory levels, track shipments, and ensure that inbound and outbound logistics are effectively managed. The Warehouse Inventory Executive is tasked with optimizing inventory processes, reducing surplus, and eliminating redundancies to maintain an efficient flow of goods. This role is pivotal in supporting the overall operational goals of the warehouse, which includes preventing stockouts and minimizing overstock scenarios. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a firm understanding of inventory management systems. They will work closely with various departments, including procurement, sales, and logistics, to support a seamless supply chain process.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement inventory management procedures to streamline warehouse operations.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability at all times.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and generate reports on warehouse stock levels.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams for timely shipments and deliveries.
  • Identify discrepancies in inventory counts and implement corrective measures proactively.
  • Establish safety stock levels and reorder points to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
  • Train and supervise warehouse staff on effective inventory handling practices.
  • Utilize inventory management software to track and manage stock movement systematically.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and make actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with procurement to forecast inventory needs based on sales trends.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in inventory storage and handling.
  • Optimize warehouse space utilization to enhance productivity and storage efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in warehouse management or inventory control positions.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex inventory data.
  • Excellent team leadership abilities with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
