Job Description

As a Warehouse Inventory Executive, your primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth and efficient management of inventory within our warehouse facilities. You will play a critical role in maintaining optimal stock levels, executing inventory control procedures, and supporting the overall logistics operations. This position requires a meticulous individual with a strong ability to manage stock-taking activities, handle discrepancies, and coordinate with various departments to optimize warehouse operations. You will use your analytical skills to improve inventory accuracy and provide timely insights into stock trends and shortages. A Warehouse Inventory Executive must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent problem-solving abilities, and be adept at using inventory management software to stay abreast of the latest technologies in warehouse management.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and accuracy.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory control procedures and protocols.
  • Coordinate regular physical inventory audits and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Collaborate with logistics and purchasing teams to manage inbound and outbound deliveries efficiently.
  • Maintain inventory records using warehouse management software and other relevant tools.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, shortages, and excesses and make necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards within the warehouse environment.
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff on inventory control processes and systems.
  • Communicate with suppliers and vendors to resolve issues related to stock discrepancies.
  • Prepare detailed reports on inventory status, including performance metrics and improvement suggestions.
  • Coordinate with the finance department for stock valuation and financial reporting needs.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing inventory management efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehouse management or inventory control roles.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capacity to process and interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team coordination.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
