Job Description

As a Territory Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's sales efforts within a designated geographical area. Your primary responsibility is to develop and implement strategic sales plans, designed to increase the market share and generate significant revenue growth. You will be at the forefront of identifying opportunities, negotiating deals, and forging and nurturing relationships with clients to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty. Collaborating with a team of sales professionals, you will foster a competitive yet cooperative environment to achieve and exceed sales targets. Your efforts will be crucial in enhancing the brand's presence in the market and ensuring a reliable and sustainable customer base.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities within the territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and campaigns.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to the management.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market activities, and competitive landscape.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify shifts and determine the needs of clients.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely product delivery.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives to enhance performance and growth.
  • Organize and attend trade shows, events, and client meetings as company representative.
  • Analyze sales data to assess sales performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure advantageous terms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven track record of successful sales experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interaction.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Adept at analyzing sales metrics and developing strategic plans accordingly.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
