Job Description

The Store Executive is an integral part of the retail management team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a store. This role requires a proactive and organized individual who can manage multiple tasks and drive the performance of the store to achieve organizational goals. The Store Executive ensures that customers receive outstanding service while also maintaining the store's presentation and inventory levels. They are tasked with implementing and adhering to company policies, leading and motivating the staff, and continuously seeking opportunities to enhance sales and customer satisfaction. With a focus on excellence, the Store Executive is pivotal in delivering a seamless shopping experience that reflects the brand's values and standards.


Responsibilities

  • Manage daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient performance at all times.
  • Oversee staff productivity and monitor employee attendance and workload distribution.
  • Implement all company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance at every level.
  • Maintain optimum inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers to reorder stock efficiently.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive sales, and maximize profitability.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving customer complaints promptly.
  • Prepare and analyze sales reports to identify trends and plan future actions.
  • Train and mentor staff, conducting regular appraisals and providing feedback for improvement.
  • Coordinate with the visual merchandising team to maintain an appealing store layout.
  • Ensure the store meets all safety and health regulations, addressing issues as they arise.
  • Organize promotional activities and initiatives to boost customer engagement and sales.
  • Manage financial aspects of the store, including budgeting and loss prevention strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in retail management or a similar position is required.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle a dynamic work environment.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and analysis techniques.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a customer-centric mindset and approach.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with retail management software.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with staff and customers.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by store demands.
