We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team specializing in the flooring industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the flooring market, excellent sales acumen, and the ability to lead and inspire a sales team effectively. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building and maintaining relationships with key clients, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will also be tasked with developing strategic sales plans to achieve the company's objectives and act as a crucial link between the sales team and upper management. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed company goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with potential clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Prepare and deliver sales reports and forecasts for senior management review.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and initiatives.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, training, and workshops to enhance team performance.
  • Develop pricing strategies and negotiate contracts with clients to maximize profits.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and implement corrective actions if needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all sales activities.
  • Provide feedback and insights to upper management to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the flooring industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets consistently.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with prior experience managing a sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of current market trends and customer buying behaviors in flooring.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client visits.
