As a QA Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. This position involves designing and implementing tests, debugging software, and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics to maintain high-quality standards throughout the development process. Your expertise will be vital in developing and executing exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. You will find yourself working closely with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and provide feedback on the design and functionality of new features. We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, who can effectively communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Collaborate with software developers to ensure accurate testing of product features.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using bug tracking systems.
• Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to ensure product stability.
• Analyze test results, report software issues, and track defects through resolution.
• Design and perform both manual and automated tests on software products.
• Work with development teams to troubleshoot and debug software applications.
• Provide timely feedback to development teams regarding performance and quality issues.
• Ensure products meet high standards of quality and reliability before launch.
• Review and analyze system specifications to ensure requirement coverage.
• Participate in the development of new features from a testing perspective.
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium or similar automation tools.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
