QA Tester 17D25

As a QA Tester 17D25, you play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our products before they reach the customers. You will work closely with the development team to understand the requirements and create effective test plans, scripts, and schedules. Your primary goal is to find and report bugs, inconsistencies, and user experience issues to improve product performance. This role requires a meticulous eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to think critically to identify issues within complex systems. You will contribute significantly to maintaining the standards and integrity of our software solutions, making sure that our deliverables meet customer expectations and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Work collaboratively with different teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Identify, isolate, and track software defects and inconsistencies efficiently.
• Execute manual and automated testing for various applications and systems.
• Analyze test results and report defects to the development team clearly.
• Participate in design reviews to provide input on functional requirements and potential issues.
• Assist in the preparation of test automation frameworks where applicable.
• Ensure that the final product satisfies the product requirements and end-user expectations.
• Maintain and update test documentation as necessary throughout the development lifecycle.
• Continuously assess and enhance testing processes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge on testing best practices.
• Track and communicate testing progress and results to stakeholders regularly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance testing.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing tools and techniques.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and users.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes is a strong advantage.
