Job Description

The role of a Production Coordinator is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and execution of production activities within a company. Typically working within industries such as film, television, or manufacturing, a Production Coordinator has the task of organizing various aspects of the production process. This includes coordinating schedules, managing budgets, and liaising between different departments to ensure timely delivery of projects. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate production schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Manage budget allocations to ensure financial efficiency in operations.
  • Liaise between different departments to facilitate smooth communication and workflows.
  • Prepare and maintain production documents, including call sheets and scripts.
  • Oversee the logistics of production equipment and materials.
  • Coordinate travel and accommodations for production staff and talent.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations at all times.
  • Handle last-minute changes and resolve any unexpected issues during production.
  • Support the production team in pre-production planning and post-production wrap-up.
  • Maintain databases and tracking systems for resource planning and management.
  • Report regularly to senior production management on progress and challenges.
  • Assist in the hiring and training of junior production staff as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in film, communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a production role required.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills essential for this role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines consistently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage team dynamics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and proactive thinking.
