Responsibilities

• Design and implement age-appropriate physical education activities and programs.
• Assess the physical and skill level of each student to tailor instructions.
• Promote an environment of respect, discipline, and cooperation among students.
• Organize school sports events, competitions, and physical wellness activities.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress and prepare progress reports as needed.
• Provide guidance and motivation to students concerning personal health and fitness.
• Incorporate technology into physical education programs to enhance learning and engagement.
• Ensure the safety of students by maintaining proper supervision during activities.
• Collaborate with other teachers to integrate physical activity into overall school curriculum.
• Stay updated with new trends and developments in physical education teaching methods.
• Create and maintain a positive, energetic, and supportive learning environment.
• Coordinate with parents and communicate effectively regarding their child's performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field.
• State certification or licensing in physical education teaching, if applicable.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children in an educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of a variety of sports and physical activities.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Effective communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff.
