Job Description

As a Logistics Supervisor, you will play an integral role in overseeing and managing the supply chain operations of an organization to ensure seamless execution and delivery of goods. The role necessitates meticulous attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and a firm grasp of logistics and supply chain management. You will be responsible for coordinating with various departments, optimizing logistic processes, and ensuring that each stage of the process is efficient and aligned with company guidelines. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and warehouse managers for streamlined operations.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and company guidelines related to logistics.
  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of logistics personnel to enhance team performance.
  • Identify process improvements and implement strategies for enhanced operational efficiency.
  • Resolve issues related to transportation, logistics systems, and customer service promptly.
  • Approve and process payments and invoices related to logistics operations.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure quality control and adherence to practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in logistics management or supervisory role in a similar field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex logistical problems.
  • Excellent leadership abilities to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills to manage diverse responsibilities.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
