Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Cook to join our culinary team and elevate our dining experience through authentic Indian cuisine. Responsibilities

  • Create and prepare menus featuring classic and contemporary Indian dishes.
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies to ensure uninterrupted kitchen operations.
  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in the preparation of Indian cuisine.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Customize recipes to meet guests' dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Ensure timely preparation and delivery of dishes during busy meal periods.
  • Collaborate with restaurant management on menu planning and development.
  • Continuously innovate by introducing new dishes to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
  • Manage waste effectively to control costs and support sustainability efforts.
  • Provide exceptional presentation of dishes to appeal to guest aesthetics and palates.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a cook specializing in Indian cuisine.
  • In-depth knowledge of traditional Indian spices, herbs, and culinary techniques.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume kitchen operation efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask seamlessly.
