Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and preferences.
• Perform haircuts, trims, and styles based on clients' requests and trends.
• Apply hair color treatments, including highlights and lowlights, as requested by clients.
• Recommend and sell salon products to clients to maintain their style and hair health.
• Stay informed about the latest hair trends, techniques, and industry best practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring tools are sterilized and sanitized.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in all services provided.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure return visits.
• Listen to client concerns and provide solutions to enhance their salon experience.
• Manage scheduling and bookings within the salon’s software efficiently.
• Assist with promoting salon services and packages to potential new clients.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and product knowledge.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Hair Stylist in a salon setting.
• Certification or license in Cosmetology from an accredited institution.
• Strong knowledge of various hairdressing tools and techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with diverse personalities.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
• Willingness to stay updated on the latest beauty industry trends.
