A Field Service Executive is an essential role in providing technical and customer service support for a company's products and services. The Field Service Executive is responsible for travel to client locations to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various equipment or systems, ensuring that clients' needs are met promptly and efficiently. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills to interface successfully with customers, offer training on proper equipment usage, and ensure complete satisfaction with the services provided. Responsibilities

  • Travel to client locations to provide expert technical support and assistance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment while ensuring minimal downtime for the client.
  • Perform regular maintenance services to ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
  • Respond to customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Provide on-site training to clients on the optimal usage of equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of service tasks performed for reporting purposes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are fully met.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during service visits.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or recommend enhanced service packages to clients.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology advancements related to company products.
  • Generate service reports and deliver feedback to senior management for continuous improvement.
  • Manage spare parts inventory to ensure adequate resources for service calls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, electronics, or a related technical field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a field service or maintenance technician is essential.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in technical equipment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact with clients effectively.
  • Ability to work autonomously while managing time and multiple service requests.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours as required by clients.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
