Job Description

The Field Service Executive plays a critical role in ensuring that our products and services are delivered and maintained with utmost efficacy to our clients. As a Field Service Executive, you will be the front-line representative of our company, combining exceptional customer service and in-depth technical knowledge to address issues and educate customers on product usage. This position requires frequent travel to client locations, diagnosing and resolving equipment malfunctions, and providing timely solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Your problem-solving skills and ability to work independently will be key to succeeding in this fast-paced environment. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams to improve service quality and efficiency, thereby contributing to the overall goal of high customer satisfaction and retention.


Responsibilities

  • Travel to client locations to install, repair, and maintain equipment professionally.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software problems in a timely manner.
  • Provide on-site training and support to clients for the optimal operation of equipment.
  • Document service reports accurately, detailing work performed and any resolution provided.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing client concerns promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with technical support staff to escalate unresolved issues.
  • Manage parts inventory efficiently for repair and maintenance tasks on-site.
  • Stay updated on product features and services to offer knowledgeable assistance.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential upselling opportunities.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures during field operations.
  • Maintain a service vehicle, ensuring all required tools and equipment are in place.
  • Submit regular reports on service activities, including client feedback and issues identified.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred.
  • Proven experience in field service or related roles for a minimum of two years.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for technical details.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts to clients.
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to various client sites as required.
  • Current valid driver's license with a clean driving record is a must.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting purposes.
