Job Description

The F&B Coordinator plays a crucial role in the food and beverage department, acting as the primary link between the kitchen, service staff, and management. This dynamic position requires exceptional organizational skills to ensure efficient operations and a seamless guest experience. The Coordinator is responsible for tracking inventory, scheduling staff, and maintaining communication across various teams to ensure that the highest quality of service is consistently delivered. Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the food and beverage department efficiently.
  • Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation.
  • Assist in planning and executing special events and functions smoothly.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate supplies are maintained constantly.
  • Schedule shifts and manage staff rosters to optimize service delivery.
  • Maintain clear communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams at all times.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in menu planning and contribute innovative ideas for new offerings.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality ingredients.
  • Prepare reports and provide insights to management on department performance.
  • Assist in training new staff to maintain the standards of service excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a food and beverage environment is essential.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with teams.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and restaurant management software required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
