Job Description

The Food and Beverage (F&B) Coordinator plays a vital role in the smooth operation of food and beverage services within an organization, such as hotels, restaurants, or event venues. This position involves multitasking and handling various responsibilities that include coordinating with the service staff, managing supplies, and ensuring top-notch customer service. The F&B Coordinator is responsible for scheduling shifts, maintaining records, and assisting with budgeting and inventory management. This role demands excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily food and beverage operations to maintain seamless service delivery.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely order processing.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of supplies, placing orders when necessary.
  • Organize shift schedules, ensuring sufficient staffing levels at all times.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new menu items and promotions.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any service issues or complaints.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all venues.
  • Maintain thorough records of sales, expenses, and other critical operational data.
  • Work closely with the management team to optimize service efficiency.
  • Train and supervise new staff, ensuring adherence to company standards.
  • Facilitate communication between departments to enhance overall guest experience.
  • Support event planning and execution as required, ensuring successful outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction.
  • Proficient in using computer software, especially MS Office and POS systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Comprehensive understanding of dining services and customer satisfaction practices.
