Job Description

The F&B (Food and Beverage) Coordinator is a pivotal role within the hospitality industry, responsible for managing and coordinating various aspects of food and beverage operations. As an F&B Coordinator, you will play an integral part in ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience by supporting the smooth functioning of restaurant, bar, and event services. Your primary duties will include coordinating with kitchen and service staff, managing inventory, and overseeing the logistics of dining services. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. As part of our team, you'll contribute to the quality and satisfaction of our guests' dining experiences, working closely with the F&B Manager and the rest of the hospitality team to uphold standards of excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the F&B Manager to streamline food and beverage operations efficiently.
  • Assist in planning menus that meet quality standards and customer preferences.
  • Ensure efficient operation of restaurant and bar services, enhancing guest experience.
  • Oversee the setup and coordination of special events and catering services.
  • Maintain effective communication with kitchen staff to manage orders and timing.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate orders to ensure availability of supplies.
  • Compile and analyze customer feedback to improve service quality and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality ingredients and products.
  • Train and supervise junior staff to uphold standards of service and professionalism.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy.
  • Assist in budgeting and cost control to optimize operation profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations in all F&B activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in an F&B or hospitality operational role is required.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with staff and guests.
  • Familiarity with food and beverage management software and point of sale systems.
  • Knowledge of food regulations and best practices in health and safety standards.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle tasks independently and proactively.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
