Job Description

The Event Hospitality Coordinator plays an integral role in ensuring the seamless execution of events by managing all aspects of hospitality services. This position requires an individual who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication skills. The coordinator will work closely with events managers, vendors, and clients to deliver exceptional experiences. The role demands handling multiple tasks, from logistical planning to guest services, ensuring that all attendees are catered to in a professional and courteous manner. As the face of the hospitality team, the coordinator must exhibit poise, patience, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Plan and oversee all hospitality operations for various events.
  • Coordinate with event managers to understand and execute event requirements.
  • Develop and manage hospitality budgets to ensure cost-effective service delivery.
  • Liaise with caterers, decorators, and other vendors to align service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Design and implement strategies for exceptional guest service experiences.
  • Conduct site visits with clients to review event logistics and layout.
  • Supervise on-the-ground hospitality staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Address and resolve any issues or complaints raised by guests effectively.
  • Maintain updated records of services offered for each event.
  • Assist in the debriefing sessions post-event to evaluate performance and feedback.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to continuously improve service standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or related field.
  • At least two years of experience in hospitality coordination or event management.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.
  • Proficiency in using event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of hospitality professionals.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
