Responsibilities

• Develop detailed architectural designs and technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to understand project specifications and technical requirements.
• Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and updates necessary for the project.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and project specifications in all drawings.
• Prepare detailed diagrams and assembly instructions for manufacturing processes and construction.
• Address feedback from architects and engineers, incorporating revisions into the design documents.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents and specification sheets for submission.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure seamless integration of various drafting components.
• Verify dimensions and materials indicated in drawings to maintain accuracy and clarity.
• Maintain and organize project documentation and archives for accurate historical records.
• Attend project meetings to discuss drafts and resolve any discrepancies in designs.
• Develop and manage a schedule of drawing deliverables to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Draftsman role, preferably within architecture or engineering sectors.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant drafting tools.
• Strong understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with architectural principles.
• Exceptional attention to detail and an understanding of technical specifications.
• Ability to interpret engineers' and architects' ideas into detailed drawings.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration with project stakeholders.
• Certification or degree in Drafting, Architecture, or a related technical field is preferred.
