Job Description

The Business Development Executive (IT/Data) plays a critical role in driving business growth through the identification and acquisition of new clients, as well as the nurturing of existing relationships within the IT and Data sectors. This role involves a blend of strategic planning, robust market analysis, and tactical execution to expand the company's footprint and increase revenue. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the IT landscape and data-related services, possesses a keen business acumen, and demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and negotiate with prospective and current clients. The Business Development Executive will collaborate closely with other departments, including marketing, sales, and product development, to align targets and strategies for optimum performance outcomes. This is a dynamic position requiring flexibility, innovation, and a results-oriented approach.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our client base.
  • Identify leads, initiate client contact, and manage the entire sales cycle effectively.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design effective marketing strategies that ensure lead generation.
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand trends and leverage available opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits and client satisfaction.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure continued partnership and growth.
  • Identify and propose innovative solutions to meet clients’ IT and data analysis needs.
  • Prepare and deliver client proposals and presentations articulating the benefits of our services.
  • Track sales metrics and present progress reports to management regularly.
  • Liaise with product development teams to convey client feedback and market demands.
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events to network and promote our brand.
  • Mentor junior sales staff, providing guidance and training to improve sales performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role in IT/Data sectors.
  • Excellent understanding of market dynamics and trends in the IT industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close complex deals effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or within a team.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales productivity tools.
