Job Description

As a Business Development Executive specializing in IT/Data, you will play a key role in driving the growth and success of our company by identifying and securing new business opportunities. Utilizing your expertise in Information Technology and data-driven solutions, you will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies that will increase our market share and expand our customer base. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with potential clients and partners, understanding their IT and data needs, and offering tailored solutions to meet those needs. Your ability to navigate the fast-paced technology market and adapt to new trends will be crucial in achieving your goals. You will also be expected to provide insights and feedback to the product development team to ensure our offerings are aligned with market demands.


Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities in IT and data sectors through research.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand the company's customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to achieve business targets.
  • Conduct presentations and product demos to prospective clients and partners.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits for the company.
  • Analyze market trends to identify shifts and gaps in the market offerings.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team based on client interactions.
  • Ensure clients’ IT and data requirements are accurately understood and met.
  • Monitor competitors and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare regular reports detailing business development activities and outcomes.
  • Attend industry conferences and networking events to increase company visibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in a business development role within the IT or data industry.
  • Strong understanding of IT solutions and data analytics is essential.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are a must.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar tools is preferred.
  • Knowledge of market research and analysis tools to assess market trends.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Availability to travel for client meetings and industry events as required.
