We are actively seeking an experienced AutoCAD Draughtsman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aptitude for technical drawing and an eye for detail. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for construction and manufacturing projects using AutoCAD software. Your work will support engineers, architects, and designers, helping to develop various projects from the planning stages through construction. Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications using AutoCAD software efficiently.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers on design specifications.
• Translate concepts and ideas from rough sketches into CAD drawings.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Create three-dimensional images and renderings when applicable or necessary.
• Maintain organized project files and drawing documents in a systematic manner.
• Modify designs to improve accuracy, productivity, and sustainability in projects.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of results.
• Review and update existing drawings to meet new or revised standards.
• Coordinate and communicate with team members to obtain necessary information.
• Assist in troubleshooting potential drawing design issues and provide solutions.
• Stay updated on current trends in AutoCAD practices and technology.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an AutoCAD Draughtsman or in a similar role.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other related CAD software programs.
• Strong understanding of technical drawing and design concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are essential.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good communication skills to effectively liaise with team members.
• Time management skills to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Relevant degree or diploma in engineering, architecture, or a related field.
• Familiarity with 3D modelling software is an added advantage.
