Job Description

The Associate Instructional Designer is an integral member of the instructional design team, dedicated to creating effective and engaging learning experiences. This role is perfect for someone passionate about education and technology, who thrives in a collaborative environment and possesses a strong ability to translate educational needs into structured learning materials. As an Associate Instructional Designer, you will work closely with senior instructional designers, educators, and subject matter experts to develop training modules, digital courses, and other instructional materials that cater to a diverse learning audience. Your keen eye for detail and creativity will be essential in ensuring that the educational content is both informative and engaging, enhancing the learning experience and outcomes for all students.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and design of instructional materials and courses.
  • Collaborate with senior designers and subject matter experts on curriculum design.
  • Evaluate and analyze existing instructional materials for improvement opportunities.
  • Organize content in a clear and logical manner according to design specifications.
  • Support the integration of new learning technologies into instructional design projects.
  • Create multimedia presentations to enhance learning content engagement and understanding.
  • Conduct research to gather necessary information related to instructional content.
  • Develop assessment tools to measure learning outcomes and effectiveness.
  • Revise and update instructional materials based on feedback and effectiveness data.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all instructional design projects and processes.
  • Assist in conducting pilot tests and usability studies for instructional products.
  • Provide support and training for instructors on newly developed learning materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field required.
  • Experience in instructional design and development is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • Proficiency with design and authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate or Articulate.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with cross-functional members.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills are necessary.
  • Knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models is advantageous.
